DeGrio Global Learning Academy admits students who are prepared to engage in a hybrid, developmentally-grounded academic program. Our admissions process is designed to determine appropriate program placement for each applicant.
DGLA does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, or socioeconomic background in admissions or enrollment.
Admissions Process
- Application & Documentation — Families submit a completed application along with required academic and student records.
- Academic Record Review — DGLA reviews prior academic history to inform program placement.
- Developmental & Academic Screening — Where applicable to the student’s age band, a screening is conducted to confirm appropriate placement. Early Learning placement is determined by developmental readiness, not age alone.
- Family Interview & Orientation — A meeting with DGLA staff to confirm fit and formally welcome the family into the community.
Waitlist Priority
When program capacity is reached, priority is assigned in the following order: program readiness, sibling enrollment, and availability of appropriate instructional support.
